Flying above Harissa
Harissa sits on the mountain shoulder above Jounieh, home to the Our Lady of Lebanon shrine and the teleferique that climbs from the coast. It's one of the most recognisable views in Lebanon — and it looks completely different from the air.
Our tandem flights take off from Ghosta, a few minutes above Harissa in the Keserwan mountains. From launch you follow the ridge line, with the statue, the bay, the marina and the coastline unfolding beneath you, before a gentle landing in Jounieh.

Do you fly over the Harissa statue?

Plan about 30 minutes from briefing to landing, plus a short drive between the Ghosta take-off and the Jounieh landing area.

Flights run year-round when the weather allows. Spring through autumn offers the most stable conditions, and late afternoon gives the best light over Jounieh Bay.
